Where our language came from

The founders of the village came from a line of moon worshipers that believed that the moon purifies everything throughout its cycles, which brought about new beginnings. When our founders first settled here, the surrounding areas were out of control with monsters. When they founded the guild they believed that they were doing the moons work by purifying the surrounding area making it safe to live in. how ever through the years we have stopped hunting as furiously for fear of killing off an entire species. while they were clearing out monsters in the area that was to be where we live we still wanted to live with the monsters as best azs we could, so a rule was put up that only the monsters wreaking havoc can be hunted, which was called purified many lunar cycles ago.
